o agree with the post of how the “Don’t judge a country by its media coverage” part. China was incredibly fascinating， frustrating， and rewarding. We are still learning Mandarin – and probably will for the rest of our lives. And there is more to China than just the usual places， for sure. Great post.

A lot of what I found interesting about China can also be applied to a lot of Asian cultures. Head over to Southeast Asia and you will notice it’s all about food！ Instead of saying “Hello， how are you？” when you meet someone， you even greet them with a “Hello， have you eaten？” as a way of saying hi.
我发现的很多关于中国的有趣之处同样也可以在很多亚洲文化中适用。到东南亚去，你也会发现这里到处都是关于吃的！当你遇到某人时，作为打招呼的方式，甚至会用“喂，你吃了吗？”，而不是说“你好，你好吗？”。
