o agree with the post of how the “Don’t judge a country by its media coverage” part. China was incredibly fascinating, frustrating, and rewarding. We are still learning Mandarin – and probably will for the rest of our lives. And there is more to China than just the usual places, for sure. Great post.

A lot of what I found interesting about China can also be applied to a lot of Asian cultures. Head over to Southeast Asia and you will notice it’s all about food! Instead of saying “Hello, how are you?” when you meet someone, you even greet them with a “Hello, have you eaten?” as a way of saying hi.
