Historically speaking China has good relations with Pakistan due to its bad relations with India in the early years of Independence. As far as this satellite is concerned, I think it will not change the strategic balance of the subcontinent because India already has an advanced space program while Pakistan is just starting its program. There will be no big difference also because we already use Chinese satellites during wars with India to collect data. Now we are going to have our own satellite. But, I think India and Pakistan should also start space cooperation so that we can end the hegemony of the western states in space.
